The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on the 25th May 2018.
IS Oxford is in the process of preparing for the GDPR and we can confirm that we will be compliant by the date the GDPR becomes law.
Further information for our customers, including hosted customers, will be made available in due course. This will include guidance on compliance when using Heritage Cirqa and Heritage.
We will be issuing new support and hosting contracts to all customers as these need to be updated in order to comply with the requirements of the GDPR in April 2018. These clarify not just the responsibilities of IS Oxford as Processor but also your responsibilities in respect of the contract as the Controller.
The draft versions of the hosting and support agreements are available at https://cirqasupport.com/node/21606. From the feedback we have had, it is not expected that there will be any significant changes between these and the final versions.
The final versions will be emailed to all customers with current support contracts with us in April 2018. We will require signed copies of these returned to us by the 25th May 2018 in order for us to be able to continue to provide our full range of support and hosting services.
This webpage will be updated periodically as we move through the process of implementation.
