Our monthly 'dress down' day raised funds on their behalf.
On the first Monday of each month IS staff can come to the Chapel in their casual clothes in return for a donation of £2 to the charity being supported. Staff can nominate any good cause they feel deserves a bit of extra help. This month we decided to support team Thomas, who took part once again in the Rainbow run at Cutteslowe park. This is the third year that the team has taken part in the fun run with around 70 friends and family taking part along with several hundred other runners. The run is a short fun run in which participants are pelted with coloured powder paint along the course. It’s in aid of Helen and Douglas house who provide care for terminally ill children. A fun day was had by all taking part and raised funds for a valuable organisation. Oxford mail article: http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/15340206.__39_Keep_memory_of_Thomas_ali...
