Castletown Library, on the Isle of Man, has purchased their first library management system and opted for Heritage. A small, self-funding, private library serving the community of Castletown, they chose Heritage partly because it is used in so many libraries on the island and offers the benefit of an experienced community of users to join in with.
The LTS is an Evangelical Protestant college for the training of preachers and pastors. It offers courses up to Master's Degree level and has just implemented Heritage in place of a Filemaker Pro based system. They have approximately 15,000 volumes in the library and are using Quickcat Online to update their previous records.
They are a successful Arts College near Weston-Super-Mare. with a special emphasis on Media Arts. Worle Community School had previously used a locally-developed system called DTE. Heritage was selected following an on-site presentation of the system.
The ICO is the main inter-governmental organization for the coffee industry and they have just implemented Heritage at their headquarters. Bringing together producing and consuming countries, they help to address the challenges facing the world coffee sector by organising international co-operation. They were previously using PL Web but chose Heritage after an on-site demonstration and a trial of an evaluation copy. The ICO have their Heritage Online hosted by IS Oxford.
A well-respected and innovative name in the Guernsey legal scene Collas Day is a firm of eight partners with over seventy lawyers and support staff. They did not have a library management system previously but, after an online demonstration and a trial evaluation of the software, opted for Heritage over other competitor systems. We are delighted that this long-established company has put its trust in us.
Previously using Alice, the Surrey Archaeological Society has changed to Heritage after an on-site demonstration and a thorough trial of an evaluation copy. Surrey Archaeological Society was established in 1854 'for the investigation of subjects connected with the history and antiquities of the County of Surrey'. The Society's headquarters are at Castle Arch, Guildford, where the Society's Library, which includes a large and diverse collection of research material, is also housed.
Milford Care Centre in Limerick has purchased Heritage to manage their library resources.The librarian at Milford is a previous user of Heritage and so purchased the system again after taking her current post. The Care Centre incorporates Milford Hospice, Milford Day Care Centre and Milford Nursing home.
