Over the years we have successfully converted data from over fifty different systems to Heritage. Even if two libraries use the same system, we usually find that they have used it in quite different ways and so there is no standard template for an implementation. However the stages of conversion are well rehearsed and usually follow the same format.
We can provide an accurate quotation after an initial inspection of your data at no obligation. Once a data conversion is agreed the process is typically divided into two stages: a trial conversion and a final conversion. The trial conversion stage is a great opportunity to tidy up your data, remove corruptions, anomalies and standardise the content. This stage involves regular communication between our technical staff and you so that you can get exactly what you want from the process.
